“Dani vina Jastrebarsko” (Wine Days Jastrebarsko) is the most famous event in Jaska with a tradition that has been going on for 30 years. The main purpose of this event is to introduce the rich selection of top-quality wines from Plešivica winemakers to all visitors. This year, the Wine Days will take place from September 29th to October 1st in the historical park of Erdӧdy Castle, featuring wines from fourteen wineries: Josip Braje, Robert Braje, Krešimir Ivančić, Željko Gregorić, Vinarija Jagunić, Franjo Kolarić, Podrum Mladina, Stjepan Sirovica, Siniša Šoškić, Tomac & Bajda, Dobra berba, RJ Winery, Vinarija Šember, and Vinarija Kurtalj.
In addition to the diverse offerings in the wine booths, this year’s event also includes numerous other activities. Throughout all three days, visitors can participate in wine workshops on various topics, where they can gain in-depth knowledge about different types of wines and the stories associated with them through tastings. For those with a creative spirit, there is an ideal opportunity to participate in the Paint & Wine workshop, held over two days, in collaboration with the young Jaska-based academic artist Karla Ban. Entrance to the pavilion where the wine booths are located is completely free for all three days, and a lively atmosphere with good wine will be ensured by various well-known performers. On Friday, September 29th, Neno Belan & Fiumens will perform, Saturday, September 30th, is reserved for the performance of Matija Cvek & The Funkensteins, and the program will conclude with the popular band Gazde on Sunday, October 1st.
